Being diagnosed with RA in ’03, I had been under the care of a group of arthritic doctors which I highly respected. Although it took 8 months and one of the doctors literally telling me what he had surmised from my health report- that if I did not get on a medication I could be in a nursing home within 5 years.

A statement like that would put one’s mind in overdrive. Therefore, I agreed but could not take a 250mg pill everyday which is what the doctors wanted me to do. He suggested that they would give me an injection that day and I would come back next week and they would show me how to give myself the injection of 6cc’s methotrexate once a week. I agreed to take the drug for 1year because of a problem I had encountered previously with a drug over a period of time. It was unthinkable to bring myself to take another drug for the rest of my life. In other words, I HATED drugs and there had to be another solution.

Leaving Southeast Christian Church one Sunday morning, I picked up their paper- went home and threw it on the desk in the kitchen. On Wednesday I decided to look at it, when out fell a flyer advertising a free exam at Lowe Chiropractic and Wellness with Dr. Patrick Lowe. What the heck, what do I have to loose? I had been to a chiropractor when I was younger with a lower back pain. Since my year of medication was near, I needed an alternative solution.

I made an appointment, listened to his expert advice on what he had discovered and asked about the prognosis. Before my 3 days had passed, I decided to start my journey.

History:

•    Suffered with migraines once again
•    In 2 auto accidents with whip lashes
•    Hysterectomy at age 32 and in 18 months was put on a drug which I took off and on over a period of 20 years. I ended up with breast cancer caused by the medication. Due to the cancer I was not able to sleep on my right side
•    Pain in upper part of my arms and numbness in hands
•    Suffered with pain in wrist and could not make a fist
•    Upper back and shoulder pain
•    Pain in knees and ankles, could hardly walk, toes drawn up and severe pain in arches
•    Suffered with fatigue most of the time and with pain in every joint of my body

Within 2 months of starting treatment I began to feel some relief and at least I could make a fist. Through the recommended treatment, now I get adjustments twice a month, alternative medicine (no drugs in approximately 4 years), eating recommended foods for my body most of the time, exercising, proper rest and sleep- I feel GREAT for a 73 year old who 6 years ago was facing a doomed lifestyle.

All the glory goes to my LORD, His grace and mercy that is fresh every new day, my faith, attitude and  Dr. Lowe’s gift (that God gave him knowledge and understanding of how the body’s intricate parts are to function).

The next step of my journey which I am looking most anxious to, is the decompression treatment over the next 8 weeks. That’s another testimony! Stay tuned and let’s see what the Lord and Dr. Lowe are going to do.

P.S. An amazing outcome of the cancer. Praises to my LORD who healed me and as of Feb, I have been cancer free for 22 years.
