What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is based upon the understanding that we all have an inborn intelligence (life force) that runs, regulates, and heals our bodies. Chiropractors call this our Innate Intelligence, a source unique to all living systems. In humans it is our Nervous System that carries our innate intelligence which communicates between our brain and our bodies.

As long as this force is able to flow freely through our nerves our bodies can adapt to the many stresses we encounter each day. If this system is interfered any number of health issues can occur.

Health is dynamic, it is always either getting better or getting worse. Only specific chiropractic care keeps the nervous system free from interference creating an upward spiral of health and wellness.

Many people come to our office and say, Dr. Lowe you cured me of my, headaches, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome. Or they say you fixed  my asthma. I have to be
perfectly honest. I didn’t cure anything. I perform specific adjustments to their spine and their body does all of the healing.

Chiropractic removes interference from the nerves. I am amazed at how many different conditions clear up as we restore proper nerve function to the body.

It is often the case that when we adjust the spine for the mid back pain that the acid reflux starts to clear up. Other patients report that, when their low back pain gets better, their constipation or menstrual problems improve.

One study showed that 99% of the people who saw a chiropractor were happy with their results!
